The intense white complexion of the Devi, the white color of the birds and that of the conch seem like decoration the background. Matangi is seated on a throne of vivid inexperienced, her fingers shifting over the strings of the veena (lute). Two lotus flowers dangle from a slender string tied to the higher a part of the veena, which is formed like a chicken's head. On the fringe of her throne sits a parrot seemingly engrossed within the music she is making. Beside her is a conch-shell. The light intoxication attributable to the honey-candy wine talked about in Her dhyana-shloka (set out under the picture)> Madhur Madhu Madaam is recommended by the dreamy expression in Matangi's eyes. Two birds are creatively positioned and the delicate combination of sunshine and shade creates the colour scheme effectual.
