Devipuram is a Hindu mandir advanced positioned close to Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Belonging primarily to the Shakta college of Hinduism, it's devoted to the mata Sahasrakshi (or Parvati), and her companion Kameshwara (a type of Shiva). Devipuram's main concentrate is the Sahasrakshi Meru mandir , a novel three-story construction constructed within the shape of a Sahasrakshi Yantra. Sri Sahasrakshi mandir is situated in Devipuram village in Visakhapatnam in Andhra pradesh. The first deity of this mandir is Shakti as Sahasrakshi. This specific fashionable mandir was constructed throughout 1985-1994 by its creator N. Prahalada Sastry. The architectural types of this mandir are primarily based on South Indian Structure with three temples (mandir) within the premises. The mandir belongs to the Shakta faculty of Hinduism. The mata Sahasrakshi is considered the mata with thousand infinite eyes. She can also be a type of Mata parvati or Lalita Tripurasundari and her husband is a type of Lord shiva named Kameshwara.
