Madmaheshwar is a Hindu mandir devoted to bhagawan Shiva.Madhyamaheswar is an essential half of the legend of Panch Kedar, which is a charming narration of the labors of Pandavas to in agreement for the sins of their fratricide (gotra- hatya) take action of killing their cousins, the Kauravas, and Brahmanahatya (killing of Brahmins - the priest class), during the epic Mahabharata war. But the bull disappeared into the ground to reappear later in his original self of Lord Shiva at five places; within the type of a bump at Kedarnath, within the form of bahu (arms) at Tungnath, along with his face at Rudranath, his nabhi (navel) and abdomen at Madhyamaheswar and his hair (locks) referred to as jata at Kalpeshwar. Pandavas, happy with the revelation of Lord Shiva at 5 locations in numerous types, constructed temples at these 5 places, worshipped him and attained salvation with blessings of Shiva
