Buddha Jayanti is peaceable and inspiring. For Buddhists, this can be a day to reaffirm their religion within the 5 ideas referred to as Panchsheel, i.e. refraining from captivating life, stealing, mendacity, consuming intoxicants and committing infidelity, in addition to the Eight-Fold path as symbolized by the Dharma wheel.
