Kartikeya Sadhana for removing misfortune

It was the first time that I had picked the journal from our bookstall. What caught my attention was the image that adorned its cowl page. A lot excited I rushed back house and plunged into its contents and an hour later I used to be all decided to set out on a journey to Jodhpur the very subsequent day. My spouse was left even more amazed on beholding the image of the revered Sanyasi.

"He is similar Yogi", she cried with delight combined surprise. "Yes" I mentioned, "It is He! What more he's living in Jodhpur at present. Will you accompany me?" ?Oh yes. I cannot overlook how he saved us from near break", cried my wife.

I can also never forget those days when poverty, distress and issues dogged us incessantly. Many had been the days when our only son would cry himself to sleep, with out food. And to think about it that my father was a millionaire with business unfold throughout India! We have been four brothers and being the eldest I used to be closest to father. Another excuse for this was that my brothers wished to have a share in the good points with out putting in any efforts. However father would have none of their ways and was very strict in his dealings with them.

Then in the future I all of a sudden bought information that father had significantly taken unwell in a far off metropolis the place he was for some business deal. I rushed there however the best of medical assist could not save him. It was nearly a month after his demise earlier than I could return. To my utter dismay my brothers had fraudulently taken possession of everything.

Money was of their hands and it purchased all officers rendering all my efforts to get an equal share futile. Pressured to depart the city I sought refuge in the ancient paternal dwelling in our native village. Misfortune pursued us there too and I was shocked to find that our fertile land had change into barren. Efforts to begin a business went in vain for nobody was able to help. For a yr we laboured in the fields however we might hardly make two ends meet.

We might go with out food but it was actually tormenting to listen to the guts rending cries of our ten 12 months outdated son. How many occasions I thought of suicide! Finally we decided to promote all we had and leave the village. Plans have been afoot when in the future there was a loud knock at the door. It was a Sadhu in search of food. Tears welled in my eyes and I choked on my voice -- "Baba, we now have not eaten for 3 days. Our son is dying with hunger".

The Sadhu listened aptly to my tale of woes. Eventually he stated to my wife, "I'm taking him with me. Don't worry he shall return tomorrow". I don't know why, however none of us protested. Quietly I followed him to a nearby jungle after which right into a secret cave. It was dark. In a couple of minutes he had a holy hearth roaring. Asking me to take a seat by his facet he began chanting Mantras. He made me carry out Sadhana of Lord Kartikeya, a deity who brings prosperity and success to his Sadhaks. Having achieved it I went to sleep there itself. Next morning I was stunned to search out myself on outskirts of the jungle. The Yogi was nowhere to be seen!

I returned home and in a few days an old acquaintance of my father who had come to know of my misfortune contacted me and invited me to be a companion in his firm. There was no trying back from then on and my enterprise took off at superb pace until I used to be 4 instances extra well off than my father had been.

Now years later the magazine in my hands revealed that the Sanyasi had been Paramhans Swami Shivanand Das who now lived in Bhayander as a household man, serving to tens of millions like me with the help of Sadhnas. The day I met him again is essentially the most cherished day of my life. Together with his permission the same Kartikeya Sadhana seems right here for the benefit of all.

The perfect day for this Sadhana is the fifth day of the bright fortnight of the lunar month. It may be tried any time -- early morning or late at night. Have a bath and sit on a sky blue mat robed in a gown of same colour. Cowl a wood seat with a sky blue material and on it draw a lotus with eight petals with rice dyed red with vermilion. On this place the Kartikeya Yantra.

Light a ghee lamp and incense. Supply flowers, vermilion, unbroken rice grains on the Yantra. Chant thus-
Sinderaarunn- Kaanti- minduvadanam Keyoorhaaraadibhi- rdityeiraamarannei- vibhushitatanum Swargasya Soukhyapradam. Amyojaabhshakti- kukkurdharam Raktaagaraagaamshukam, Subrramanyamupaasmahe Praannmataam Mabheetiprannaashodhtam.

Thereafter with Soubhagya rosary chant 13 rounds of this Mantra-

| Om Kam Ksham Kam Kaartikeyaay Phat |

ॐ कं क्शं कं कार्तिकेय फट्

Offer laddoos on the Yantra and partake of the Parsad. Drop the Yantra and rosary in a river or pond the next day. Provide food to a boy of 6 to 10 years the same day.
