Bhairavi is one of the ten Mahavidyas (Wisdom Goddesses) in Tantric tradition. - Sacred Space: Set up a clean and quiet place for the sadhana. Place an image or yantra of Goddess Bhairavi on an altar.
- Offerings: Offer flowers (preferably red hibiscus), incense, lamps, and any food items like fruits or sweets.
- Mantra Chanting:
"Om Hreem Bhairavyai Namah"
Chant it 108 times daily with focus and devotion. - Perform the sadhana daily for 11 or 21 days without interruption for optimal results.
Mahurat for Bhairavi Sadhana
- Navaratri:
The nine nights of Navaratri are ideal, particularly the nights dedicated to the Devi. - Amavasya (New Moon Night):
Bhairavi is associated with transformative energies, making Amavasya an auspicious time. - Specific Lunar Days:
- Krishna Paksha Ashtami (the 8th day of the waning moon) is considered highly favorable.
- Tuesdays and Fridays are also auspicious for beginning her sadhana.
- Rahu Kaalam (Rahu Period):
Though generally avoided for rituals, Rahu Kaalam is powerful for invoking tantric deities like Bhairavi under expert guidance.
