'Vasudha' means the earth or Bhoomi. Vasudha Lakshmi is often known as Bhoo Lakshmi or Bhoo Devi. She is the solid, affected person, steady mother earth.


Life exists on 'Dharti mata' or land and she provides humanity with earth to stay on, soil to develop on and water to drink from. She bears the mistreatment of her kids in the direction of the earth and climate.


Sometimes the Goddess loses her endurance and calls upon her lord - Shri Hari Vishnu to punish the children and provide her relief. Vishnu does so by taking various incarnations or 'avatars'.


Within the guise of Lord Ram or Lord Krishna, Vishnu restores steadiness in nature and establishes the legislation of 'Dharma' or proper conduct.


Some times the Goddess Vasudha Lakshmi takes management of the situation herself. She restores steadiness within the system by causing earth quakes, floods, volcano eruptions etc. Her lesson is simple - that one should respect nature if nature is to supply abundance to humanity.


In normal times, Goddess Bhoo Devi, showers nice abundance in giving us land, meals, air and water with great endurance and love.
