Shakambari Mata is incarnation (avatar) of Devi Bhagwati. It's supposed that Goddess Bhagwati incarnated as Shakambari to alleviate famine and acute meals disaster on the Earth. She can also be often called Mata of greens, fruits and green leaves and depicted with green environment of fruits and veggies.
