Asha Dashami pujan (Girija pujan)

Asha Dasami pujan (Girija pujan) performed on Shukla Paksha, or waxing phase of moon, month of Ashada as per Hindu calendar in North India. On the day are to Parvati is observed day of the Shukla Paksha of Ashad month.Please note that in a few regions it's also observed on the 10th day of the Shukla Paksha of Kartik month.
The ritual is also known as Girija pujan in some regions.

Pujas and poojan on the day are devoted to Mata Parvati. The vrat is performed for attaining harmony, wellbeing and wealth.
