Mata Patneshwari Diksha

Maa Patneshwari, is the oldest and probably the most sacred temples (mandir) of Patna. It's considered one of many fifty one Siddha Shakti pithas in India. In line with Puranic mythology, the 'proper thigh' of the corpse of Sati had fallen right here when it was chopped off by Lord Vishnu together with his 'Sudarshan Chakra'.
