A Kundalini class begins with a brief chant followed by a heat-as much as stretch the spine and improve flexibility. The primary work of the category is known as a kriya, which is a proscribed sequence of poses and pranayama that focuses on a precise area of the body. The teacher sometimes doesn't make handbook adjustments. The class ends with a meditation, which may be accompanied by the instructor playing a big gong, and a closing song. Kundalini devotees usually put on flowing white robes and head wraps.

Kundalini is among the extra spiritual kinds of yoga. It goes beyond the physical efficiency of poses with its emphasis on respiration, meditation, mudras and chanting.
