Dhanteras or Dhantrayodashi is one of the propitious holy ceremony carried out on the 1st day out of 5 days of Diwali pujan and rituals. It is celebrated on thirteenth lunar day of Krishna Paksha in the Hindu month of kartik (October/November) also called Dhantrayodashi or Dhanvantari Triodasi.

Dhan means "prosperity" and triyodashi means thirteenth lunar day of kartik month, on this day Maata Lakshmi is worshipped together with lord (bhagawan) kuber for a contented state of being happy, gaining material prosperity and great success. This pujan allows you enhance the stream of monetary resource and the ability to gather immense prosperity.
