Shraadh Pitra Sadhana

Shraadh means to offer with devotion or to offer one's respect. Shraadh is a ritual for expressing one's respectful emotions for the ancestors. Based on Indian texts a soul has to wander about in the varied worlds after dying and has to undergo a lot because of past karmas. Shraadh is a means of assuaging this suffering.

Shraddhyaa Kriyate Yaa Saa: Shraadh is the ritual completed to satiate one's ancestors.

The nature's cycle keeps on going in line with its mounted programme and similarly man to retains moving from the birth to dying then again to beginning and so on. This goes on and on endlessly and souls that have passed away keep taking birth in new forms.

This cycle was set into process by the Almighty and our historical Rishis and Yogis divided the human life from start to demise into varied parts so that man could lead a balanced life and attain the tasks in his life which might be vital for his existence. They designated specific rituals for every part of a person's life so that life could possibly be lived to the full.

Along with this they also suggested man to offer his thanks and gratitude to the Almighty and search his divine blessings in order that he could lead a cheerful, contented and divine life full of all comforts and pleasures.

In accordance with Hindu tradition life is split into numerous elements and equally there are different Samskars which mark a selected phase or a part of life. When a soul enters the womb or when a lady becomes pregnant Punsavan Samskar is accomplished.

On birth of the child Choodamani Samskar is done. When the child begins his schooling the Upanayan Samskar is accomplished which marks the part of growth of an ignorant individual right into a knowledgable person.

Equally when an individual becomes younger Vivah Samskar is completed whereby he gets married and enters into a new phase of life. All through his life he has to go through several Samskars and when finally he will get outdated and dies the Kapal Kriya Samskar is achieved because the soul leaves to take birth in a brand new body.

Thus this system is very properly organised and it's based on human emotions and feelings. Even after dying the hyperlink with the soul continues and in India every year a ritual is carried out to supply one's respect and like to the departed soul.

Within the historic textual content Garud Puraan and different Puraans it is clearly said that by providing meals to dead one's ancestors their souls really feel satiated and so they bless the individual with wealth, kids, information, joys, pleasures and a total life.

Some may ask what they need to do if they don't bear in mind the dates of passing away of their mother and father?

Such a person should do Shraadh on the moonless night time in the month of Shraadhs. Shraadh for lifeless girls people should be done on the ninth day of darkish fortnight of the lunar calendar.

Shraadh is completed not only for lifeless mother and father but all ancestors whose names one may not bear in mind or whose dates of passing away aren't remembered.
