Sudarshana Chakra is the discus weapon of Lord (bhagawan) Vishnu/ Lord Krishna which is often used for the last word destruction of an opponent and defending good over evil. Sudarshana Chakra adorns the proper rear hand of the 4 palms of Mahavishnu. This disk-like weapon consists of hundreds of pointed sides and produces insupportable heat. The literal which means of the Sanskrit phrase Sudarshana is "auspicious imaginative and prescient". It's a mixture of the phrases "Su" which implies "Divine/auspicious" and "Darshana" which suggests "Imaginative and prescient". Sudarshana is worshipped by Vaishnavas and thought to be the Deity who assists the devotees to clear the troublesome path to realize the lord (bhagawan).
